80 – Cycle of Masochism

I’ve seen this happen too many times. Thankfully, it didn’t happen this past weekend at Dragon! If you’re into LARPing and haven’t played (or even if you’re not into LARPING), you should totally play.

For the record, I had a ball and do not hate life.

    Heh. Don’t think I knew about this webcomic before.

    Yeah, a friend of mine (who didn’t LARP) always used to comment in the days
    where full-weekend games ruled the roost (and were always run at SF cons)
    that people in tabletop games tended to talk about the cool things they did,
    whereas people in LARPs always talked about how things sucked.

    Didn’t stop us from playing, though, or even having fun.

    I’ve noticed that people tend to complain about all the “What if”s for the week or so after a game, then change to the “Do you remember how awesome it was when…”s after a few months.
