My name is Jenny Blanchard. I am an Electronic Arts major in the Class of 2009 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I took the Fundamentals of 2D Design course, taught by Professor Caren Canier, in the spring semester of 2009. This is a culminating portfolio of twelve projects exploring the various aspects of two-dimensional graphic design. The subject matter I chose for these projects is my webcomic, Enjuhneer. Projects 5, 9, and 12 feature permutations of the logo for the Enjuhneer Institute of Technology, an engineering school that serves as the setting of the comic. All other projects feature the main character, Penny West, in various poses. The letters of "FUNDAMENTALS" link to each of the twelve projects. Please click one of them to explore the portfolio. Internet Explorer 6 refuses to center that top navigation bar and thinks the rollovers are dangerous, but otherwise works alright.
